Becoming a green company and contributing to the environment is the goal of almost all companies to gain public trust during the global warming issue. As a form of appreciation for PT Apparel One Indonesia’s (AOI) commitment to longing for the environment, AOI received the SILVER PRIZE award for the greenhouse gas emission reduction category at the 2023 ENSIA (Environmental and Social Innovation Award) award event organized by PT Sucofindo (Persero) Indonesia.
AOI has succeeded in reducing 43% of CO2 emissions from electrical energy at the AOI 1 plant through the Rooftop Solar (PLTS Roof) and REC (Renewable Energy Certificate) programs. This award was given after going through a selection of more than 100 companies throughout Indonesia, where the assessment was carried out by a jury of environmental experts from Diponegoro University and Padjadjaran University.
