On Friday, February 21, 2025, PT Apparel One Indonesia (AOI) had the extraordinary opportunity to host a visit from the National Economic Council (DEN). The visit took place at Apparel One Indonesia’s Factory 1 (AOI 1) and was attended by the board of directors, representatives from the Human Resources division, and representatives from the Sustainability department of PT Apparel One Indonesia.
The DEN’s visit to AOI is part of the Indonesian government’s agenda to assist and listen to labor-intensive industries, particularly in the garment manufacturing sector. Given the current significant potential of the global apparel manufacturing market, the DEN plans to help pave the way for AOI to continue expanding its business and growing to compete globally.
The visit began with a joint discussion between the DEN and the AOI team. It started with a brief explanation of the company profile, followed by discussions on the current business situation and AOI’s future projects. After the discussion, the visit continued with an on-site inspection of the production process.
PT Apparel One Indonesia hopes that this visit will lead to greater government involvement in advancing labor-intensive industries in Indonesia, particularly garment manufacturing. PT Apparel One Indonesia is also committed to continuous growth and expanding job opportunities for the Indonesian.
